The Court of Account of Tucumán has filed charges for $93,000 argentine pesos to two officials of the Commune of Medina, 87 kilometers away from the provincial capital, for presenting irregular balances for the second and third couple of months of 2007. In the first instance, the Court began a Summary of Accounts to Community Commissioner, Miguel Angel Salas, and the Secretary of the Commune, Francisco Javier Dorao, for failing to file balance sheets in good time and in an appropriate manner.

Subsequently, they presented the balance of the following two months, but they omitted to deliver the third bimester. In addition, the Court from Tucumán conducted observations amounting to $43,496. In this situation, the watchdog decided to close the summary and introduce to both officials a Trial Account.

The balance of the 3rd bimester of 2007 was finally presented. On this new delivery, the Court of Account also found differences between income and expenditure, in this case for $31,308.

The watchdog decided to condemn both officials with fiscal charges for $74,804, equivalent to the sum of the differences found in both balances. The amount must be updated regularly until the payment has cleared. Upon closing of the audit, on March 2010, the amount had risen to $93,060.46.
